He begun his career in Oxford Postgraduate Deanery under the Oxfordshire Scheme for Foundation Year training after graduation. During this time, he received John McLean runner’s up award from British Dental Association for multi-disciplinary treatment presentation and Foundation Dentist award from British Endodontic Society.
For affirmation of his pursuant in structured academic assessment, in 2013, he completed the membership examination for Diploma in Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) leading to a Membership in Faculty of Dental Surgeries (MFDS) from the Royal College Of Surgeons (RCS) England. In 2016 he completed Basic Course in Dental Implantology from National University of Singapore. In 2018 and 2021, he obtained by examination and case presentations, Diploma in Implant Dentistry and Membership in Advanced General Dental Surgery from RCS Edinburgh respectively. He is experienced in various dental implant systems like Astra Tech, Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Neodent, Camlog and Osstem.
In terms of his experiences with clear aligners treatment, it begun in 2014 and since 2015, he has been awarded different tiers of achievements from Invisalign. Starting with a Platinum award in 2015 to Platinum Elite tier in 2017 to Diamond provider in 2019 and also appointed as a trainer in 2019. He has travelled across South East Asia to conduct certification courses for Invisalign, study clubs and lectures to showcase complex Invisalign cases and incorporating it into a holistic treatment plan. In 2021, he published the first multi-disciplinary case from Singapore in the new Invisalign-iTero gallery.
He frequently lectures on topics involving simplifying complex problems with multiple simpler staging of modalities, cultivated in his experience with various disciplines and adaptation of digital technologies like 3D scan and print, digital imaging and planning, microscope and LASER usage, on top of less commonly seen techniques like botulinum toxin.
